Opium is a feminine perfume by Yves Saint Laurent. Warm, sultry, sexy, opulent and decadently powerful! This fragrance is classified as Oriental Spicy and you will be smelled before you even enter the room when you are wearing it. This perfume isn’t always a crowd pleaser for everyone, but those who do wear it are hard pressed to find any other perfume to replace it.
Opium arrived on the market in a new bottle in autumn 2009. Design of the bottle was developed by art director YSL Fabien Baron and Stefano Pilati.
The face of the advertising campaign is Karen Elson.
